Firefly!!

You see...the world doesn't know that you are living a lie,

A lie that hides you living the life of a firefly...

For you might show how cheerful you can be,

But do know that your sadness within, cannot hide from me...

You may with your passion...ignite those beautiful eyes,

And make the world believe that everything around you is possibly nice...

But I know you and you know me better,

Your soul cannot deceive me with all that glitter...

You may distance yourself from me with all your might,

But remember..you are to me what a firefly is to light...

So even if you try to run till the ends of the horizon,

You will always find me watching over you like the sun!!
