DAY SEVEN!!

The Change!!

Kala muttered to herself!! It's now or never!! She had been noticing this one strange office guy. He was in his 20s..not much older than the now incarnation of hers.. as Durga. He had been on the same floor as Kala since a week and belonged to a different team.. the team had been given some seating space besides Kala's team. The lavatories were just few meters away from Kala's desk. She had got accustomed to ignoring the people who passed by her. One day as Kala was heading out of the washroom and this new guy was heading towards the washroom. Kala looked at him but his eyes stared at her from top to bottom. It was an eerie look. As if he was imagining something. The stare made Kala uncomfortable. She thought of it for a few mins but later got engrossed in her work. The next day the same guy passed by her as he walked towards the lavatory. This time he stared at all the women present in her cubicle. She quickly caught him staring but he didn't realize Kala was still watching him as he went back towards his desk. Kala thought it might be a sheer mistake in judging the person. But she was not wrong. Three days back to back.. he stared only at women while passing by even though there were a few men around too. His eyes exposed his sadistic behavior. Kala thought and was enraged on seeing this every time. She informed other women of her team too. They too noticed it. One more time and Kala grew furious...she thought of keeping a board outside her cubicle..Buri nazar wale tera muh kaala... But she couldn't... Finally she thought of one move. The next time he passed by their cubicle.. he started looking at every girl and walked slowly...then his eyes met with Kala's. She was watching him enraged. Her face expressed her desire to pop out the eyes of this man who stared filthily at women. This time he noticed and instantly took his eyes off her but continued to stare at other women. When he came out of the lavatory again his eyes gazed at women. This time too Kala ensured to stare back at him..in his eyes to let him know that she knows his intentions. He noticed it again and looked the other way. This happened two more times. The other girls too started to look at him angrily. He realized now that his actions have been caught. One day later...when he again got up to go to the lavatory.. he dare did not look at Kala's cubicle or at any other women as he passed.. In fact he turned his head and eyes the opposite way. Kala saw this and she felt some peace. There wasn't any official punishment as such...no verbal communication exchange. Nothing loud but clear enough to let the stalker know that what he was doing was wrong! Kala felt a sense of achievement. A silent one...and every single time that the stalker passed.. he dare not look at Kala or her female colleagues...From that day.. Kala decided to teach a lesson to the perpetrators in her own possible way.. !!
